90-Year-Old Man Struck By Vehicle In Eastern PA: Police

A 90-year-old man was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle early Thursday morning, Dec. 19, in Plymouth Meeting, according to police.

The incident occurred around 5:51 a.m. on Germantown Pike, west of Walton Road, Plymouth Township Police said. Officers and EMS arrived to find the man in the eastbound lanes. He was transported to Jefferson Abington Hospital by Plymouth Community Ambulance Association and is listed in critical but stable condition, authorities said.

The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Highway Patrol Unit of the Plymouth Township Police Department.
